Escape to Durango

This has become one of our very favorite places to visit. We love skiing. Ashton and Alyssa are becoming very good skiers, and it's getting harder and harder to slow them down. Abby did very well this year and went to the top of the mountain with us. She said "I don't like ski school because you have to stay in a line and I want to go fast!!" She made us all so nervous, she would just take off and fly down the mountain. No Fear!!

Mom and Dad took a try on the ski bikes. They loved them. Dad said it might be the only way they can keep up with the girls.

The snow was beautiful this year. Durango has had a record snowfall this year, over 21 feet. The house where we stay usually has just a little bit of snow around it, and this year we had to dig a tunnel to get out. The snow was over 8 feet high off the porch!!

Alex!!

Well, believe it or not, this is our first cast with the Price girls. On Monday Alex was climbing down off the trampoline and somehow her pants got caught and she ended up upsidedown. We think she must have hit the pole with her elbow. She never complained, but if anyone tugged on her arm, it hurt!! She only has a very small fracture near her elbow, but the doctor wanted to cast it for better healing. She was very excited at first, but then reality set in and she decided "this might not be very comfortable!" She keeps asking me if I could take it off.

She was very brave and is doing just fine.

We are very excited to be headed to Durango, CO in two weeks!! Be sure to check back for lots of pictures.
