Busy Fall Days

We were so excited to take an unexpected trip to San Antonio. We met my family there for the state cross country meet. My brother Matt and his team ran on Saturday and came in 4th overall!! We had a blast cheering him on.

It has been a long time since we have been to Sea World, so we were excited to visit!! The crowds were light and the weather was perfect. We had a great time. Shamu was definitely our favorite, but after sitting in the spash zone for the first show, we learned our lesson. The water was so cold, and we were all soaked!! We sat in the sun for a while, but it was still very chilly. The girls fed the dolphins, and that was Abby's favorite part. Ashton and Alyssa are finally big enough to ride the roller coasters, and they had a blast. Lines were short, so they were able to ride them many times.

November 1st -- Happy Birthday, Abby!! Abby turned six years old this month. She is such a precious little girl. She brings a smile to our face, and she has the cutest little voice that I could listen to for the rest of my life and never get tired of. She is also the most persistent of the Price girls. She knows what she wants and does not give up easily!! We love you, Abby!!

Halloween!! We always have fun dressing up and trick or treating around the neighborhood. This year we had a cat, Elizabeth from Pirates of the Caribbean, Snow White and a witch. This year for our annual pumpkin carving, I actually bought the little carving tools. They turned out so good. Ashton did a ghost, and it looked awesome. Its amazing what you can do with the right tools. At dark we headed out to the neighbors. The girls found friends and got more candy than they could eat all year. It was a fun night!

Thank you so much to all of you who have been praying for us. We don't always understand what God is up to and sometimes we'll never know. But He is teaching us, growing us, strengthening us and I am praying that I am learning something new along the way. Lance was asked to stay as the teaching pastor at Community of Faith, and we've decided to stay. He is preaching at the Fort Bend campus with a few other responsibilities at the main campus here in Cypress. I am so glad the girls will be able to stay at their school and move ahead in the relationships they have already made. We have met many great families in our neighborhood and are glad to be staying put. We love you all and miss you very much!
